Does a custom storage system make sense
for me?
Organize-It can create a custom storage system for any size room in any home. Apartments and condos especially
benefit from our Freedom Rail storage systems, because it's easy to reconfigure and you can easily
take it with you when you move. You can use the Freedom Rail system to design a closet, pantry, desk, bookshelf, utility
shelving system and more, making this our most versatile system. We also design and install
Freedom Rail Garage Systems and Schulte Wire Shelving.
Who will determine the specifications for
my storage system?
Organize-It will provide a free in-home estimate and professionally
design a custom system that meets your specific requirements. Organize-It gives you far
more options and configurations to choose from than pre-packaged systems found at building supply stores.
We build your closet system to your specifications, so you will never have to question whether the system will
fit your application.
Who will install my storage system?
This choice is up to you! Our experienced technicians will install your entire system at a very reasonable price, or
you may choose to install it yourself.
How can I be sure I'm getting a quality
product?
Organize-It carries high quality shelving products manufactured by Schulte
Corporation. Schulte uses heavy gauge steel to produce their ventilated system, and twin
track brackets for their adjustable system. They also use a top quality press-board and
superior hardware with their Melamine system. With Schulte, you get one of
the strongest, highest-quality systems in the industry. We will be happy to show and explain
these features during a design consultation.
How long does it take to complete an
estimate?
The entire meeting with our designer should take less than one hour per application. If you
want multiple closets done, the design and measure session may run a little longer. Typically,
the designer will draw a rough sketch for your review, then return a finished drawing with
an estimate in a few days.
What do I need to do prior to
installation?
To make installation move as smoothly as possible, we ask that the work area be cleared before we begin.
It is your responsibility to provide us with a blank canvas. Please remove all moveable items,
as well as the old closet shelving and structures prior to installation.
Any painting needed will also be your responsibility.
How long does it take to complete an
installation?
It depends on the number of applications, but a typical single application takes
approximately two hours.
What is the difference between a wood
melamine system and a wire system?
The melamine systems are much stronger, more adjustable, offer more features and come in a
variety of finishes. The wire systems
are cost effective, light-weight and provide superior ventilation.
What is the warranty for the storage
system?
The wire system comes with a lifetime limited warranty from the manufacturer. The melamine
system comes with a ten year limited warranty from the manufacturer. Organize-It offers a limited lifetime warranty
on the workmanship for any system we install.
